This week we saw warmer water temperatures, but the bluer water hasn't come in yet. Boat's running to Corbeteņa and El Banco had a consistent yellowfin tuna bite. They were still on the smaller size, but some in the 50-60 pound range were found. That's right about were we should be for this time of year. The real story this week is the unbelievable inshore fishing we are having right now. The pargos, snappers, and roosters were out in full force along with jack crevalle, sierras, pompano, etc. Punta Mita, Marietas Islands, and El Moro were the hot spots with multiple boats landing 10+ roosters in the 20-50 pound range in a short 6-8 hour trip. This makes for great fishing on light tackle.
