CHASE N' TAILS FISHING CHARTERS FISHING REPORT..
Finally we got some good rain fall. The rain has cooled the water off a few degrees making the redfish bit to turn on. The best bait right now is cut pinfish and green backs on a 2/0 circle hook free lined. We are also doing well on top water lures such as Skitter walks. The first part of the morning and last of the evening has been the best action the redfish are in the upper slot 25 to over the slot 32 inches.
The trout are still out deep look for the trout in 10-14 feet on spotty bottom use a 3/8oz mission fishin jig with a Gulp 3" shrimp work the jig slowly across the bottom giving a light pop on the rod the trout are in the 18-22 inch range. Also in the same areas you can catch sea bass, flounder, sharks, grouper, and lady fish.
Snook are in the back coves and around docks with a good flowing water use live green backs or a white jerk bait the snook are 22-30 inches.
Scallops are still doing great this has been the best scallop season in years the hot spot has been north of Bayport in 6-10 feet. So book you a AWESOME fishing and scalloping trip now.
Tight lines and calm seas
