A group of three wanted a crab trip. Off we went for crab. The weather lately has been unbelievably mild and pleasant. Today's crew would have disagreed with that. The harbor was calm, but a nice fresh easterly(10 - 12 kts) was blowing the Mavericks and local reefs combers back creating tremendous sheets of white. So, my passengers were changing various shades of white, green, yellow and no longer worried they forgot to bring food and drink. We ran a string we hadn't run for a while, although disappointing, we still got 18 crabs for the passengers and crew. Mine is being boiled at Princeton Seafood as we speak.
Perhaps sanddabs on Monday the holiday?
