Huli Cat went out about 8 miles. The drift was NE to SW. Started in 210 ft, ended in 235 ft in the separation zone. By 11am, the anglers had all the sand dabs they wanted. We ran in to my outside string of crab pots for a good number of crab, then to the inside string to follow up. Wind came up b riefly, but subsided again. An occasional roll to the boat, for the most part and extremely pleasureable trip. Capt Mike Velasquez ran the block while Capt Guy Anthony ran the pots and put us on the dabs.
