Some very impressive reports posted this week. I wish I had some of the same quality to report....

The 18th I had the Richard's from Chicago. 3 Kids and Dad from 3 to 8pm. The actiona was non-stop with close to 30 Snook all about 20 to 25 inches. The kids loved it and struggled to reel in the bigger fish.

The oldest Girl Catlin caught a nice 24 inch red on a gulp jig and almost finished her slam when we jumped a little poon in the marina on the way in. All the usual suspects showed up with Snapper, Jacks, Lady's and a couple of hoss trout filling in the voids. We even had a 5 foot bull shark take a shrimp on a float in two feet of water in the back. That lasted about 2 seconds but it was awesome to see!!

The 19th was the Krasiniski's from Indianapolis. Twin 7 year olds and mom and dad. With their limited abilities we did pretty good. I drifted some grass flats out front in 6 feet of water with bucktails and shrimp. We landed about 15 Ladyfish, a dozen trout and a few Whiting. I felt like it was winter again, except for the 92 degree water, It was hot!!! Anyhow, they made a nice meal of it and were impressed with the strength of saltwater fish. Apprantely Walleye of the same size are like reeling in shoes.

The 20th was the best day of the week and the seas were FLAAT!! Frank and his son Jr. were celabrating Frank Jr's. birthday. The big 18! We took the Release offshore in search of Permit and on the way stopped to hit some of my Tripletail spots, 6 Trip's ranging from 3 to 6 pounds, Jr.'s first and it was a blast. When we got out to the Rocks it was boiling with life!! Tarpon rolling everywhere, big schools of Spadefish daisychaining on the surface and all kinds of Permit under the Spade schools.

We put out two Flatlines with big threads for the Tarpon and casted weighted shrimp for anything else. Immeaditely a big crash on the surface and an estimated 10 foot blacktip hits the Tarpon Rod. For an hour Frank Jr. fought this fish before the 80 Flouro gave way. We were 4 miles from the wreck! After re-setting we stuck to the shrimp. I hooked a big Permie and after 200 yrds I decided to snap the line before I lost my line. Frank Jr. hooked and landed a little fellow about 5 pounds. And Frank dad caught two of the biggest Pompano I had ever seen! Three Trout between 25 and 27 inches, a thirty pound black drum and a few Mackerel and we headed in. We stopped in the Marina to fool with the Tarpon and landed two, jumped 3. Little fella's lots of fun!

Last but not least the Ortiz boys from Orlando from 3 to 7 last night. Took a while to get bait offshore and it was rough. We headed in with three dozen thread in search of Snook and or Tarpon. No big Snook but they did jump 4 Tarpon and LAND NONE! Oh Joey.....maybe next time brother!

Here's some pic's from the week, I don't have them all but here's what I have!

Oh and I caught a 34" Snook one morning waiting for the customers to show up!

Bio: A typical day out on the water, is never so typical. We start out with a leisurely ride through the backcountry in Mangrove lined channels. I almost always see MANATEE, usually see big ALLIGATORS and don\'t be surprised to see a BALD EAGLE or two! The water is golden brown, typically too dark to see through until we start stalking fish in the shallows. Almost immediately, bait will be jumping, tarpon will be rolling and gulping air and snook will be \"Popping\" the surface catching bait. I call my fishing experience unique. I do however understand the urge for fresh fish, and if you want it fresh, I\'ll get it for you! I have found a reliable, fun and action packed way to catch some of the most sought after game fish and I am anxious to share it with you. In as little as 4 hours we can catch Snook, Tarpon, Redfish, Trout, Snapper, Shark, Jack, Grouper, Sheepshead and more!
