Jason Brown guided Jason Randal and his daughter Erin for us today. After last night Jason had floated with us trying to get that one big fish, today was about two things: one of those being getting a bunch of fish in the net and the second one being getting his daughter into fish. Mr. Brown was able to get Erin into a whole bunch of fish right off the bat and she wasn't able to keep them buttoned, they kept getting off. However a few hours before lunch he was able to get Erin into a gorgeous 22 inch brown that she landed. I don't know who was happier- Erin, Jason Brown, Erin's dad Jason or me- cause I was pulled over with my clients when they pulled in and netted this fish right in front of us, so I was able to get a couple of pictures too. There were a lot of happy people to see such a nice fish go to such a nice young lady. The rest of their day was much of the same, it was very productive. Erin got into 9 fish over the course of the day. Jason Randal had hooked into so many fish and landed so many fish nymphing that for the rest of the afternoon he was just trying to get that one big fish on a streamer or fish dries as well to get a couple of nice eats. Pretty nice when the day is productive enough that you can pick the way that you want to catch fish. It's always nice when things work out the way they are supposed to.
