After the amazing day we had yesterday Dave and Tyler had high expectations of the bow, but I was confident the bow would continue to deliver given the hatches we've been experiencing. Yesterday Tyler started off the day on fire and Dave finished the day on fire and today the reverse occurred. Dave started the day with one rainbow after another and then Tyler finished the day off on fire.
We were getting fish throughout the day on the stonefly dry and droppers from the boat, and then stalking the banks in the evening we took some amazing fish with fish feeding on the surface all around us.
Yesterday was a great day on the river but today was epic, even after the sun went down Tyler was till hooking fish on the dries including an absolute monster that pulled so hard it broke him off in dramatic fashion. Tyler then picked up another nice fish that he landed well after dark just as we were pulling into the the boat launch. Its pretty sweet when its too dark to see your fly and you can keep fishing because the fish just keep boiling on the bugs...what a day, what a trip..
