Sea trout are chewing like wild fire. Grass flats and drop offs from depths of 4 to 10 feet are holding schoolie trout and big gator trout as well. Artificial lures like a fluke or DOA cal in dark colors excellent choices. Live baits under a cork provide explosive strikes.

Snook fishing is steady producing awesome sight fishing along flats, sea walls and docks. Small jigs and live baits entice snook to strike. Snook are schooled up at times, ranging in size from 2 to 15 pounds. Top water action with heedon spooks producing nice fish from 5 to 20 pounds, slow presentation prevails. Night fishing is a blast right now, plenty of action for all angler with live baits, fly and jigs.

Grass flats are full of lady fish, bluefish, jacks, trout and sheepshead. Live baits drifted with a cork best bet. Shrimp or jigs tipped with shrimp another great method to get the rod bent.

Well that is the fishing report for the past week hope you all enjoyed. Remember you can't catch them from the couch, so get out there and get hooked up. Tight lines! Capt. Craig Korczynski, phlatsinshorefishing.com, 5616444371
