shark, shark and more sharks.

The cold weather is temporally behind us and the water is slowly warming up. As the warming continues the varieties of fish flooding the flats will increase and they will start to get into there normal winter time feeding habits. So far the sharks have been showing up in massive numbers and they are voracious. I have been fishing them using a popping bug and a half a Ballyhoo, this method has been producing some spectacular top water hits. The barracudas are starting to show up but have not shown up in the huge numbers we can expect in the coming months. I have had shots at permit each trip however the daytime tide is very weak so the fish are not very active. I expect the tarpon fishing to pick up this week if the water temperature hits a steady 75
