Hello again from St. Lucie Sportfishing Charters,Port Saint Lucie Florida. This trip starts out with three clients coming from North Florida. They come aboard settle in for a trip to catch some live baitfish. On this particular trip we loaded up on live sardines.

After filling the live well with about six dozen sardines, I decided to head north east to the Eight mile reef. With a nice weedline visible, live pilchards under the sawgrass, it looked like the perfect spot for some Dolphin action. Not on this trip, after about an hour of drifting along without even a nibble, I decided to move south to the Donaldson reef.

At this spot we picked up some, black tip reef sharks along with some bonitos. After doing battle with the boneheads I decided to move to the six mile reef where we hooked up with two nice King mackerals up to 28 pounds.finishing off the trip with two more King mackerals that weighed in at ten & sixteen pounds. That's my report, stay safe, fish well, from St.Lucie Sportfishing Charters, Capt. Sal,bye!
