I got my bait in the cruiseship basin this morning.1 throw with the cast net and it started to swim away. loaded the livewell and headed to the brevard reef. the seas were 3ft at 5 to 6 sec with 13knt winds out of the south south east.put the first bait out and just as i was ready to put out bait #2 the first rod starts to screem. i could not get 2 baits out for 2 hours.after we got our limit of kings we went looking for some mahi near the weather bouy. no mahi to be found there but there must have been at least 50 barracuda there.we left that and ran to some bottom #s and found lots of red snappers that we had to let go,no grouper bites at all. ran back into the 60 ft stuff and found 2 cobia that would not touch anything dead or alive.
