This striper and hybrid report fishing report has been brought to you exclusively by Robert Eidson of First Bite Guide Service, 770 827 to 6282. www.firstbiteguideservice.com Lake Allatoona, Georgia email: eidson6260@comcast.net.
Line side fishing is really good right now if your on fish. If your not you can Zero just as well. The live bait bite is very slow right now. But the trolling and spooning bite is off the charts at time. Trollers this is your time to shine.. All the fish I have caught in the last 2 weeks have been south of Kellogg's Creek. Mack Farr umbrella rigs seem to be the ticket for the trollers. Along with a 1 ounce Flex It spoon for jigging. Look for these fish as deep as 50 feet over open water. The top water bite has slowed down a lot but keep a Jr. Spook ready just in case they pop up. The south end of the lake has been best for top water action the best place right now. Carters Lake Fishing Report For Oct 22
As most of you know I guide on Carters Lake during the months of November, December, January and into February. My clients have held the lake record for Hybrids on two separate occasions on Carters in the past two years. Line side fishing on Carters is very good. On October 22 we boated some really good stripers into the mid teens and hybrids over 10 pounds on live bait and umbrella rigs. The best bite right now is south of mid lake. The fish are still holding in a summer pattern. Look for these fish out over the river channel and in the mouth of the creeks. Also look for these fish deep. We caught fish as deep as 45 feet deep down lining trout in the past few days. Bart's Bait and Tackle has some really nice trout.
