Line side fishing is Good. The bait is finally moving up in the water colum and so are the fish. Flat lines and planner boards have been working well early morning and then late in the afternoon. After the sun comes up you need to switch to down lines. The bait is starting to move south and so are the fish. The best bite this week has been from Galts Ferry to the Dam. Bartow Carver beach is a very good starting point. The fish are feeding on small baits right now. Medium shiners and small thread-fin shad are the ticket right now. As the water starts to cool to the mid 40's then you will need to switch to bigger baits like trout and Gizzard shad. The trolling bite is still good. And single buck tails fish 75 feet behind the boat at 2.5 miles and hour seems to be working as good as anything right now. The umbrella rigs are also working well right now. I still have a few days open for Christmas break if you would like to book a trip please give me a call at 770 827-6282.
