Alright guys I am stoked about our May trip giveaway....
As some of you know my kid just move to Kansas City to start a new job. Tina and I are missing him deeply. As the weeks have past we have started reflecting on the past. Tina loves to talk about our trips to Fla back when he was a little guy. My favorite memories where also when he was little. But mined had to do with spending time on the water with my son.
From the time Alex was 5 until he graduated High School. We would both take a day in May and play hooky from work and school and go fishing. Tina wouldn't know a thing about it until we got home later that day. She always tried to be mad at us but it wouldn't take her long to ask " Well what did you guys catch " and then laugh.
It has now been five years since our last hooky trip and I really miss them. Well May is just around the corner and I think I am well over due for a "Hooky Trip". And with Alex's being in Kansas City I need someone to go fishing with me.....
I really wanted this trip to be special and I wanted to make it as big as possible, but I also want to keep it small enough so I can make sure each kid has a great chance in catching a few fish and making a few memories that "he or she" can carry with them for a life time.....
I will be donating both my boats for this trip.... Dan AKA "Hmwolfpup" jump on board with this as soon as I ask him thanks Dan. After I got off the phone with Dan I got a PM from Triton Mike of http://www.tritonmike.com/ he heard what I was doing and ask if he could be of any help.....Well my answer was HECK YES !!!! and Mike agreed to take and extra parent and child out with him and his son Kevin.....Thanks Mike you and Dan are the best.....
This trip is going to be a four hour trip on Lake Allatoona for six lucky Parent and Child teams. I will be taking three team on my boat. Dan will be taking two teams and Triton Mike and his son Kevin will be taking one team with them....
This trip with be on ( Tuesday ) May 10. We will draw names on May 3 to give the winners time enough to get the day off and to talk Mom into letting the child to lay out of school and go fishing. The only draw back I can find with this trip is we can only allow one child per winner. I could ad more boats but I think the quality of the trip would over all suffer and for insurance reason I think it is best for me to keep it at three boats..
