This Lake Allatoona fishing guides report for stripers and hybrid bass has been brought to you exclusively by Robert Eidson of First Bite Guide Service, 770 827-6282. Lake Allatoona, Georgia email: eidson6260@comcast.net. www.firstbiteguideservice.com
Line sides fishing is good and the mid lake is producing the best right now by far. But there is starting to be good afternoon bite at the dam on live bait and umbrella rigs. Down lines are producing better then anything else right now. Shad, shiners and bream are all working. Just remember the bream have to be caught on a hook and line. I have caught fish as far as Allatoona Pass on the south end of the lake and as far north as Little River. But mid lake still seems to be the strongest bite going. There is a good night bite under the hydro glow light. Trolling is fair and you will find some fish schooling. The Mack Farr umbrella rig with 7, 1/2 ounce jigs have been working best for me. The top water bite is starting to show signs of life. The hybrids and white bass are busting top water right before dark on the north end of the island at Harbor town. Spoons and Rooster Tails are working best. We now offer night trips for crappie. So call for details 770 827-6282.
