Stripers: Good Guys nothing has change since last week. Clear water is still the Ticket, Hope to have a better report next week but as a right now nothing has change , . When you find clear water. There is nothing better then big trout fished on planer boards and flatlines right at sun up to catch a monster striper. But you can also tempt linesides right now with small threadfin shad or bass minnows. "Another simple method that's producing hybrids right now is trolling shiner-tipped crappie jigs,". " With the COLD weather where having right now The water temp will start to drop fast. When this happens the shad kill should start . This should start happening when the water temp. hits 44 degrees and stays there for about a week. "When the shad kill starts, jigging spoons will work well. Go away from the trout and big baits. Also try a medium-sized shad fished under a cork, like you're crappie fishing. Watch your fishfinder for big, big schools of bait that are near the top of the water column, 10 to 12 feet deep. You'll see some shad on top that are dying," .
