We are about to kick off our 2007-2008 season here at Trophy Bass Lodge on beautiful Lake Huites with our first group coming in the 17th. I believe that they will experience some awesome fishing. Camp manager George Felix reports good action with plenty of good sized fish. With hurricane Felix coming through the area last week the lake is at 90% and slightly stained in areas and clear in others. He reports catches should be around 125 per boat per day. The fish he has been catching are in the backs of the coves with water running in them. Watermelon Lizards have been the best bait with medium Rattletraps and chartreuse spinnerbaits catching a few as well. I would like to invite everyone to check us out at www.trophybasslodge.com and sign up with your favorite host for a fishing adventure of a lifetime. I want to end this report with a tragic note. Long time Mexico bass fishing legend and TBL founder Wild Bill Skinner passed away on Sept 1 2007 after a year long battle with cancer. He will be missed by all.
Thank You,
Kevin Green
