This was a great day on the water, Over 300 contestants in the Lake Stevens Kokanee derby.. Fun was had by all, The bite was first thing in the morning, even though it stayed cloudy and rainy all day. Fishing after 6 am was slow but steady, There were many fish caught and the average size was around a pound and 13-14 inches,

Lake samish has also been producing kokanee on a steady basis and there nice fat fish. Give me a call to book a trip for the kids!! 360-826-4584
