Large mouth bass shorts!
When casting, "pass the bass!" This means just what it says, "When laying in a cast while knowing where the bass is holding it's best to place the lure as gently as possible pass the bass." Although that would seem like a "no brain-er" many fishermen including myself don't think before making that cast. The rule of thumb when it comes to the ways of a large mouth bass is this: When you can see them and they are just staging you need to "cast pass the bass!" However, when you can see them and they are furiously feeding on the surface you need to cast place right into where they are feeding. If you can just "hit them right on the head with the lure!" I'm not talking about shooting the lure to fish, but dropping it into their feeding arena. If done properly "a hit will definitely happen, because the bass was already in the attack mode!" And as my father would always say, "when in the chase mode mistakes can be made!" Now that I think about that statement I'm not sure whether he was talking about fishing or not!
