Smith Lake

August 13th, 2013

Over the past week we made the move to the south end of the lake. This was the latest I've fished up north ever. We fished both mornings and evenings. With a slow bite at the first of last week, it's picked up some over the past two nights. I spent a good amount of my time in between Duncan Bridge to the dam. Fish are located between 25-50 most of the time. Live bait continues to produce the best, but trolling is another good option. Also the early morning bite on the lights as picked up good. While the evening bite is ok, the early morning bite is better. A variety of artificial lures have produce over the past week. I'll have new videos and pictures up after the weekend. Also we have a couple spots open in the striped bass club, due to members moving. This is the only club that helps you catch fish. I provide in depth fishing reports that include maps with the areas I'm fish during the week. On the clubs website you can also receive fishing reports from other members. Also ask any questions you have on the general discussion part of the board.
