What great weather we have had the last few days after some very cold temperatures last week. Fishing with Mike Hubble and his friends Mike and Drew this past Sunday Feb. the 8th I mixed it up a little bit.
After throwing plastics for a few hours and catching a lot of Trout and Blue fish we decided to drop the pick and do some float fishing with live shrimp just for something different
Float fishing is a lot of fun and you can get off the trolling motor relax and still cover some ground
Like I thought it was every drift and at least one cork went down. We were still catching lots of Trout and blues but we mixed in 4 nice Drum in the 20 inch range and 2 small Sheepshead.
It took them a few drifts to get the hang of it but then it was on. All in all we caught over 60 fish and there wasn't a dull moment for 4 hours.
Another one of those days when chartering is easy. Not every day is that easy!!!
Thanks for a great time guys and I hope to see you again in the near future.
