I fished most of the day trying various methods with little "keeper" success. The water is still warm enough to make Carp (suckers and Sacramento Pike)very active, I caught several in the 5 to 10 lb range.

I hooked into a number of Strippers, mostly shakers with two right at legal size.

Strippers are feeding on Sculpin & Golbies that are through out the system.

The only Salmon I saw was a fresh 25-30lb'er caught by a fellow fishing about 75 yards up river from me using a bobber with a day glow red indicator above a night crawler.

Think I'm going to try Union Valley Reservoir for some Trout in the AM. Report to follow.
