Hello Everybody,
PSALM 127; VERSES 1; Except the Lord build the house, they labor in vain that build it: except the Lord keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.
SAM RAYBURN: The Lake was up a little more to lake level 163.48. Water was stained in most areas and water temps were in the low to mid 60's.
Bass up to 5.0 lbers were caught this week on Rattle shads by Nichols Lures in the Lake Fork Red color in 1/2 ounce. Worked in 3-8 feet around grass. We were using Medium Kistler Rods spooled with 20 lb. Big Game. Quite a few keepers a day.
I am sure there were alot of other patterns but after the 1st Bass we just stayed with what was working all day.
If you want to get you some rattleshads look at or call Terry Sympson -Jacksonhill Park Marina at 936-872-9266.

LAKE PALESTINE: Water is at 345.39 and in pretty good shape. Water temps in low 60's. Bass Have been hitting Black and Blue 3/8 ounce Nichols Jigs along Weed edges and around Wood. At Mid-day some really Big Bass started feeding and hitting Rattleshads in the 1/2 ounce Lake Fork Red. We caught 5 Bass over 5 lbs with 2 over 6 lbs. while they were fattening up on the shad from noon to 2:00 PM. Lots of smaller Bass also and action. Nichols Spinerbaits in white, blue shad, and white/Chartruse combo's were also working.

Thought you Big Bass seekers might be interested in this. Nichols Lures makes a very Big Flutter Spoon for Big Bass you can pull up 3 Videos of it in Action being fished on Lake Fork with the How to and so on. These are not really jigging spoons. once you located Big Bass schooled up in deeper water you back off and cast these spoons and work them up and down back to the boat.
You can log in to these Videos on youtube.com or on Nicholslures.com Just insert Nichols lures gear up AAstx, or Nichols lures Electronics AA1, or Nichols Lures spoon fishing AA3, into the search there and you'll see what I mean.
