Winter time is here we will soon have cold fronts pushing through regularly. This is one of my favorite times of the year to Fish offshore Miami Beach the bait migration starts heading south creating a fishing frenzy. Just off of Miami Beach were huge mahi-mahi are caught. We don’t get as many but we definitely get the bigger ones between October and February. With some of these over 40 pounds we also get a good wahoo bite offshore looking for the edge usually produces nice fish. A floater also comes in handy running my planers next usually produces nice wahoo on our trips we like to target Blackfinn tuna just before sunset, I love drifting with a Chum bag and live baiting for them with light spinning tackle is really ideal for this type of quarry Couple rods with pitch jigs definitely always come in handy these fish hang out in schools so when you hook one, you usually hook a few super excited for this winter time fishing and let’s not forget sailfish folks these are one of the fastest fish in the ocean Shirley to entertain even the most experience anglers so get ready for some action packed winter time fishing here in Miami book your fishing charter today
