Hello again from St.Lucie Sportfishing Charters. This trip starts out with hunting for some live baitfish. The bait fish have been hit or miss this summer. With a consorted effort we managed to fill the live well with sardines and cigar minnows.

First stop was the Eight Mile Reef.I started a drift floating a couple of sardines which produced two small Sharks in the 3-4 foot range. After a careful release,I moved south to some deeper water to see if we could change our luck! After a short period of time a nice 25-30 Amberjack hit on a spinning rod with 25 pound test Suffix Hi-vis line. After well crafted battle landed the fish in about 15 minutes.

Next stop produced an assortment of Atlantic Bonito and several Barracuda. The last stop of the day using the last bait in the live well produced a nice Smoker size Kingfish in the 25-30 pound range. That's my report from St. Lucie Sportfishing Charters!I am Capt.Sal,fish hard, boat safe, stay well until next time! Please visit us at www.profishingcharters.com.
