The water looked nice so I decided to make a quick run out and play around with the new depthfinder. I also took some squid with me to make a couple of drifts for fluke. I started drifting on the outside of the walls. At the end of my second drift both poles bent. I bring them up and I had 2 shorts about 16 inches each. made a couple more drifts then the pole bent over again. This one was a Keeper. 23 inchs and just over 5 lbs. I tried a couple more drifts but nothing else hit.

I took a ride by the corners of the walls to see if the bass were around yet.

The side scan is awsome. you can see the bass stacked up right up against the walls. They looked to be about 5 feet off the bottom and about 10 feet off the walls. I have to learn how to take the snap shots with it. the pictures are pretty amazing.

The Fluke were hittting on whole squid in 30 feet of water. todays surface temp was 54
