We are taking nice catches of walleye and smallmouth bass and perch. Walleye catches have been mostly limits trolling and drifting west of the Islands. We are catching several big headed walleye 26 to 30 inch walleye each day drift fishing around North west reef to Rattle snake Island to old F can on the border. Bass fishing has been good but spotty both in Canada Pelee Island and the Ohio Reefs and also around the Bass Islands. Perch fishing has been limits on the bar off Vermilion and Lorain around Kelly's Shoal and west of the Islands close to Green and Rattle Snake, North of Niagara and around C can. The average size of the Perch off Vermilion and Lorain has been excellent!

The fishing is picking up tempo now as the days grow shorter and the water cools.

September and Oct are the best months of the year to catch Trophy Walleye, Bass and Jumbo Perch
