Shasta Lake Fishing SALMON /TROUT FISHING

Redding, CA - Shasta Lake fishing , Northern California, fishing is good , catching nice Landlock King Salmon, starting to see a lot of shad, which means more big salmon. A few nice big trout, too. Early morning and early afternoons

best fishing, trolling using shad pattern lures. Fishing will just keep getting better and better as the weeks go on ,expect limits of fish as the weeks go on and we move into Spring / Summer months .

Lower Sacramento River fishing WILD RAINBOW TROUT FISHING- Redding,California  to Anderson, California

Lower Sacramento River fishing report, in Redding, CA is as follows; Water flow is currently 7,500 CFS, decreasing to 7,000 CFS.. Fly fishing trout is good .Some of the Rainbow trout we have been catching have been ranging from 19-25 inches., anywhere from 8 - 15 fish a day now. Fly Fishing Redding /Anderson area, weather has been warming up, near 70's most days, getting near 80's expected for the weekends.

Great caddis and mayfly hatches every day.  Flies working best are, Micro Mayflies, #16, and Caddis #16 and Beadhead Pheasants Tail.
