Not a good start to the 2008 season. Ran to the back bay, found some bait, some gannets, not a bite. Bounced around depths from 20ft to 7ft, inshore, offshore and in between. 10 minutes before we threw in the towel, a miracle, we caught a short! The guy was fishing with a Flounder rig! I'm sure someone will post the pic of the first Bass of the year. The kids fishing opening day probably had bigger trout! Water temp went from 45 to 47 1/2, had a good outgoing all day and did read a nice shot of fish tight to the bottom, just couldn't get them to bite. Weather turned out beautifull with plenty of sunshine. Great too see the regs, they keep me in business, thanks guys!

NE' for the next two days doesn't sound too good. Andy and Joe, check with me tomorrow, Monday may be a blow out. Patience will pay off, I promise. Capt.ron
