I had a great excited group, ready to fish, ready to party. The keg came on board, bottles of this and that ans so on. Ran out to some special pots I dropped in 300 feet of water. Someone had ran the one and stolen the other. The entrances had been buggered so the crab were few, like two in the pot. On the way in, my Sherwood water pump dies. The Sherwood P1760 pumps have been very bad news for my Cummings engines. After replacing the pump, on the way in, a main water hose goes, that was replaced. By then the wind came up like a big dog. Huge southerely, no way to run 24 miles into the jaws of Mother Nature. We got our crabs, 26 limits, and got home safely.
Not all days are nice
