Slow pick today as conditions were terrible. No drift in the AM, had to power drift to catch a few fish. Ran out to the ocean and the current, picked at the shorts and Sea Robbins, best of the bite was at slack into the incoming. Had a few nice keepers, some shorts but the action again, was short lived. The lack of current in the AM was more than made up for, after 2 drifts on the change. Left the area with a drift of 1.9 knots!! Came back in the bay and naturally a SHIP had to be coming out the channel..caught 4 fish after that! Couple guys had 4 and 3 keepers, not a great day. Will be tied up Next Tuesday, Wendsday and Thursday for maintainance, with the lack of Weakfish (so far) can't see working on hope! Will start back Friday the 14th...let you know for what after the weekend. Capt.Ron
