Orange Beach fishing in March should provide some great fishing for amberjack. We usually do not have to travel as far in April and May to find big amberjack. A 12 hour charter is always one of the best but an 8 hour or 10 hour should provide some good amberjack fishing prior to the higher pressure months of summer. You may also expect to catch some vermillion snapper, white snapper and triggerfish. We are waiting on some warmer temps to improve the nearshore fishing. The colder temps and abundance of fresh water have slowed the bull redfish bite in February. Amberjack is your best bet in March. How about hanging into a 30, 40 or 50 pound amberjack? Awesome. Orange Beach fishing at its best.
