Well it's the end of a fast and furious month with the bite just as good as it gets. Today my clients Tim and Hayden from Colorado caught well over 20 fish while landing 18 of them. The fish mixed from Redfish to Black drum along with Trout, Lady fish and a few others. The bottom line is, the great pleasure of getting to be part of a Dad and his Son bonding on the water while fishing on my boat. This little 6 year old is by far one of the best angling kids I have had on the boat to date. It was a blast watching him let his Dad know he was catching more fish and kicking his but on the boat...too much ! Fishing is good right now so lets hook up and give it a try.

Weather was perfect today with very little winds and fish biting. Doc and Tony from NJ came down to visit Disney with the kids and to get in some fishing as well. Today Tony was able to put a nice Trout and a couple of Reds in the Boat. Doc was also blessed with a red and a few others as well. The Snook where a little picky as we hooked one Big Boy that broke Tony off robbing him of his almost Slam( Red,Trout and Snook). Doc was able to take his first ever Gray Snapper while we tried catching the Snook. This months fishing has been just perfect as we are getting a nice mix of fish.

Clear skies have return and so has the Redfish. Today John and his Son from NY joined me for some first time Redfishing. Both have caught many species of fish and were surprised how hard a 17 pound Red fights. 11 fish caught today and all site casted on the flats...what a day. Live Shrimp seemed to be the bait of their liking as the artificial was not the big producer today. With the upper level low moving out of our forecast the fishing and weather will continue to improve. So lets go fishing.

Today Scott Dial was blessed with a Lagoon Slam after he boated a combo of game fish. He boated 3 Snook 2 Reds and finished off the day with a Trout. The best part of the day was 2 fold... the first being a beautiful early morning sunrise with tailing Reds in front of us all schooled up. Second was the last part of the day as we finished boating the Snook we knew he need a Trout to get the Slam so as we hunted down Mr Trout. Scott quickly ( second cast ) hooked a small one. The best part was when a 8 to 9 pound Trout came up and engulfed the smaller Trout... WOW was that cool, soon after he reeled it up to the boat the big fish let the smaller fish go and off it went. Now Scott is looking at me with the biggest surprise on his face.
Man what a day.
