Man, what a difference a few degrees in water temp makes. The fishing

has went from slow to the best it can get in a matter of a week.

The high water and cooler days this past week has brought these St Johns

River Bass to life.Saturday I had a 6 hr trip and my clients just had a tough time

catching fish on a worm.It was something new to them and just never got the

hang of setting the hook.Today I headed to the same area and was greeted

with fish busting shad at daylight. It was nonstop action for the next 3 hrs.

After catching a bunch on Rattle Traps and getting tired of getting treble

hooks out we switched over to a C Rig and we were getting a bite on every

cast.I would say in 4 hrs of fishing 50 fish made it over the side of the boat.

We broke off on two really big fish but managed to catch about 15 of the 50

that were between 4 and 6 pounds.Tennesse Shad 1/2 OZ Rattle Traps and as always a Bitters Bait and Tackle Junebug BlueTail 7.5 Inch worm rigged on a

C Rig produced the fish for us.The St Johns River is only minutes from

Orlando,Disney World and Daytona Beach
