Summertime Bass Fishing here on the St Johns River is at its best. The main difference we have to offer here on the St Johns River during the summer months is cooler water temps because of the water flow. Inland lakes can have water temps as much as 5 to 8 degrees warmer and that makes a big difference in how the Florida Largemouth Bass reacts during the warmer months here in Central Florida.

The fish we have been catching are very active during the morning hours and no shiners are needed to catch them so that is a big savings in itself for my clients. NO SHINER BILL at the end of your trip. Rattle traps have been one of our best baits the past month and when you find and active school of fish it's possible to get a bite on every cast. We have also been catching some big fish on topwater baits the first few hours if the morning.
