Jj and Justin returned from a two day fishing trip in the Gulf of Alaska and the Southern end of Prince William Sound and report that fishing was awesome and the lodge was spectacular.

The Talvi's, owners of Port Ashton Lodge, were extremely accomodating. The lodge in Sawmill Bay was extremely nice and the accomodations were great. The meals were also excellent which is not surprising since part of the operators own two high end restaurants in Kawaii Hawaii.

As far as the fishing goes the clients limited out both days with the largest Halibut hitting about 90 pounds. They also caught several in the 70-80 pound range as well as a great deal of rock fish.

All in all the overnight trips with Seward Adventure Charters and the Port Ashton Lodge look like a real winner.

The Clients mentioned that they have stayed at remote fishing lodges throughout Alaska and have never stayed at or seen a place as magnificent as the Port Ashton Lodge and its surroundings nor had they ever enjoyed themselves on the boat with the crew and at the lodge like they did on this trip!
