Hot Hot Hot! South Florida is scorching feeling like summer. The bite has been ok for wide variety of species. Still dealing with dirty water and south winds.

Snook fishing continues to thrive along seawalls and docks. Live bait and Rapala x rap great choice, plenty of small bait, pushing through our local area snook are keyed up on these bait pods. With the upcoming full moon, the snook will start gathering along deep passes and beaches, allowing anglers to sight fish them.

Jack Crevalle continue to save the day as big schools of fish  push bait schools along structures and drop offs.  Live bait and Doa 4 inch jerk baits great choice. Jacks are very aggressive, creating feeding frenzy for anglers providing nonstop action.

Bottom fishing has offered a plethora of species the past week. Mangrove snapper, lane snapper, mutton snapper, yellowtail snapper, drum, grunts, porkfish, and barracudas have all been caught this past week. Jigs and shrimp have been the bait of choice.

Well that is a fishing report for the past week. Hope you all enjoyed, remember you can’t catch them from the couch, so get out there and get hooked up. Tight Lines! PhlatsInshoreFishing.com visit us on Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, X, and YouTube.
