Happy Holidays! Wishing you and your family a great Christmas. South Florida is finally getting some cooler weather getting anglers and fish in the holiday spirit.

Back bays and canals are great areas to target tarpon using live baits and Rapala twitch baits. Deep channels holding bigger fish. The high outgoing and first of incoming tide, great times to tango with the silver king.

Snook are being found in deep holes and along docks and sea walls.  Live baits and DOA C.A.L. 3” shad tail best baits to get the strike. Fat snook and tarpon snook have been mixed together, adding for a mixed bag for anglers.

The channel’s and deep holes have been areas to target schooling jacks ranging in size from 5 to 10 pounds. The jacks are aggressive striking Rapala skitter walks, creating awesome surface strikes. Mixed in with the jacks are croaker, drum, mackerel and ladyfish.

Well that is the fishing report for the past week, hope you all enjoyed. Remember you can’t catch them from the couch, so get out there and get hooked up. Tight Lines!
