If offshore is not your game the snook continue to produce non stop action. Anglers in a half day trip are averaging 15 to 20 snook, working docks, seawalls, and drop offs. Top water heedon spooks worked slow produce explosive action on the surface. Docks worked with doa shrimp or cal entice the snook to strike as well. Night fishing is also a great option for those looking to beat the heat.

Tarpon action is still great in the Jupiter area, deep channels are the main areas to locate the tarpon. Live baits worked on the bottom and jigs hopped along the bottom produce many hook ups. The tarpon are schooled up look for rolling fish and lead the fish , this will better your odds and get the rod bent.

The big jacks are roaming are local seawalls, these fish are pure muscle and do not give up easily. Top water plugs worked early morning provide explosive action, be sure your drag is set tight and hold on.

Fresh water producing great largemouth bass working jigs, top water plugs, spinner baits and live baits. The largemouth bass action in local canals produces good numbers of fish but lake Okeechobee offer the big bass up to 10 pounds. Peacock bass in the local canals is really turning on due to all the heat we have had water temperatures are on the rise and the peacocks are bedding willing to take doa lures and live shiners,

Well that is the fishing report for the past week, hope you all enjoyed. Remember you cant catch them from the couch, so get out there and get hooked up. Tight Lines! Capt. Craig Korczynski, PhlatsInshoreFishing.com, 561-644-4371
