My last three trips havent been over the top but they have produced.

Patience has been the key.Spots that normaly produce right off the bat have been slow. The fish seem to have slowed down and getting them into a frenzy has been difficult.

One trip I had this past week was with a client who had never been fishing in her life.Thankfully she had patience and took in the sites as we waited for the bite to turn on.

She managed several mid slot redfish and some fat trout. That made for a happy first timer.

My other two trips yielded about the same with a snook thrown in and then a dozen or so flounder coming out of the deep holes.

Most of the flounder were on the small side with only a few making it to my clients dinner table.

Bait is still around but we are having to work for it.

On my recent trips sardines, pinfish and some artificials have gotten the job done.
