Hi gang. We landed our biggest fluke of the season today 11.2 lbs. boated in 60 feet of water caught by Karl Rolff of Carlstadt, NJ. Our deckhand Billy netted the big fish. You usually only get one shot with the net on a fish that big. Good going Billy. We fished the same area as yesterday, the tip and dead center in the channel. We had a total of 40 keepers, plus many throwbacks. I tried the ocean at the end of the day and there was still a roll out there. Maybe tomorrow, Saturday. P.S. Today I witnessed a little boat almost get killed in the channel on an inbound ship. I couldn't believe my eyes. It was the closest I've ever seen. When you guys are fishing in them little boats you should always be watching for inbound and outbound traffic. Thanks. Capt. Scott. www.prowler5.com
