The fishng in Puerto Vallarta remains great inside the bay and out by el morro and corbetena. The marlin showed up last week and continues to hold strong. Strippers/blues and blacks. Find the blue water and you are on the fish, this has been about 3 to 20 mile from punta mita. The sailfish are inside the bay and offshore as well. Mahi mahi in the bay and offshore. Something we don't normally see this time of the year are tuna in the bay . Tuna are hanging aroung yelapa on the south side of the bay and are running around 10 to 80 lbs. There are some many sardines in the bay this is holding these tuna, the water temp is around 74 deg and when this drops again these tuna will be gone. The roosterfish and spanish mackerel showed up a couple of weeks ago and action has been hot !!! Roosters up to 60 lbs on live bonita.
