Puerto Vallarta fishing report in December. The last few weeks the water temperature has dropped a couple of  degrees to a comfortable 79. This is keeping the mahi-mahi inside the bay along with several other game fish like Spanish mackerel, skipjack tunas, snappers and roosterfish. When the water temperature gets into the mid-70s we have incredible fishing along with some of the best whale watching anywhere in the world. So not only do you get to enjoy some of the very best fishing here in Mexico. Something great about fishing Puerto Vallarta is we have the humpbackwhales to see on the way out to our fishing spots and on the way back to the port. These humpback whales are weighing around 20 tons. They come here to calves and to make  babies which are around 12 to 15 long and 1.5 tons.

Incredible to see the humpback whales playing here in the Bay of Puerto Vallarta while fishing on one of our luxurious fishing vessels.

The inshore fishing remains on fire. The mahi-mahi are tearing up the water off each day. Last week we had several Incredible Days catching some mahi-mahi many of the game Fish right here in the bay. Most of these trips have been 6 hours. Just as a special note it's worth it to go for 8 hours and enjoy a couple hours of whale watching here in beautiful Puerto vallarta.

The offshore  fishing action remains strong around the islands.  El Morro is showing signs of good fishing early morning amd and late evening. The sailfish and bigger mahi mahi are around the Morro.  The  water temperature is around the same as Puerto Vallarta.  There have been some big tuna's striped Marlin and sailfish at the Corbetena where we're doing our 10-hour trips. I've also been some huge red snapper caught there.  The tuna last week were biting will on live nait with a kite fishing.

As you can see from our fishing report the fishing action, whale watching action, the beautiful weather, the calm seas that we are having now and just an all-around good time for Puerto Vallarta fishing is the place to be in December for offshore and inshore fish. Come down and join us on one of our fishing trips. We offer fishing from two people up to 200.
