We have 3 rd annual mahi mahi ,sailfish tournament coming up November 6, 2010. This is a warm up tournament for the big one this November 10-13 2010. I have all girls team this year and it should be fun. The last few days we have been catching sailfish, mahi mahi, snapper,Spanish mackerel, and lot of blue/striped marlin The weather has been perfect, 76-80 during the day. The water conditions as well The water temp has dropped and is now hanging around the upper 70's. Inside the bay has produced a lot of fish but the best bet has been outside the bay 5 miles offshore. El Morro has been good for bottom fishing as well as the corbentena. The hot spot has been about 5 miles north of the corbentena. El banco is still going strong with tuna and marlin as well. The blue water is only 5 - 7 miles outside the bay.

Just before El Banco around 6 miles the tuna action has been hot as well, tunas in 30-80 lbs range.

The best baits have been trolling mullet, google eye lures and live baits for banco.
