Fishing Report: Fishing Report for Quepos Costa Rica has remained great through April 16th. Quepos Fishing Charter client on April 15th Matt Rubenstein headed offshore with the hope to catch a big Sailfish. He fished by himself with Captain Glenn Morales and First Mate Michael Meza. They were 37 miles out where they found the action. Hooked into a Marlin that he fought for 2 hours before getting it to the boat followed by 3 Sailfish releases. He came in an hour early to tell about his releases. Casey Doran fished the Threasure out of Dominical and released a Sailfish and caught a nice Dorado that he was seeking. Rick Blount fished with Idra on the 10th fishing a half day and released a nice sail and had a nice Dorado as pictured. Mike Allen and his son Jesse fished with Pez Espada and released 3 sailfish. They were just thrilled to get the Catch of Lifetime. Robby Mitchell and friends of the Simmons group fished 4 consecutive days in Quepos and released a bunch of Sailfish Robby got his Marlin. His "Bucket List" was fulfilled after a lifetime of fishing had never caught a fish over 5 lbs! He was rewarded with a 400lb Marlin on Pez Espada. The inshore bite has been terrific with clients of Quepos Fishing releasing lots of giant Roosterfish this month
