This week has been quite eventful with a trip everyday except Thanksgiving from tuesday thru sat.
Fishing has not been as bad as it could have been this week with the way the weather and cold front has been , tuesday my young customers and their Dad caught and released quite a few Trout , and a few catfish, Wednesday the two Brothers that had came to town to meetup for a fishing trip ended up catching some nice Redfish on Shrimp while fishing with me out of a borrowed boat (mine was in shop for some plugged up fuel filters result from a bad batch of gas ! for you boatowners out there take note and go to your local marine dealer and see what they recommend for the Ethenol fuel additive we are now having to burn ,it causes costly repairs ) Thanksgiving day I had no Charters so time was spent with family , Friday it was back to catching Reds again and my customers caught them on Shrimp. After a late start on Sat. The guys from N.J. ended up catching some Nice Reds on live finger mullet, The Reds had had all the shrimp they wanted I guess this week .
With this cold weather the Crappie in fresh water should really turn on in coming weeks
Don't forget to get your SteelShad lures for Christmas they will make your 2009 season a success in helping you catch fish .
