Thursday to Saturday 08/17/06 to 8/19/06 Thursday Am Had Tom and the boys from Tom's chuch out Thanks to both George and Stella Marris for there contributions to this tripThe boys combined for 6 out of 25 keeper weakies and 3 keeper fluke in Jabay and then another 20 short fluke and 3 more keepers in Ambrose channel

Thursday Pm Had Barry , Bob and sal out for an evening 5to 9pm light tackel Bass trip. We drifted worms on 10 to 12 lb gear in 70 deg. water on the ebb tide around 25 ft the guys had lots of action landing 22 bass and a keeper fluke and seabass. Only problem all the bass were around 23" Barry was HH with 8 Sal and Bod split 14. I even got in a bit catching 5 between baiting hooks and such.Everything but the fluke and seabass were released for tomorrow.

Friday Am Norio and his pal Dave had the boat today for a Bass/ fluke combo And fishing was great all day started out drifting clam on the east beach were both guys had their limit of bass to 32" by 8am Norio had 5 between 28 and 32 releasing 3 and Dave had four 2 keepers 2 just short. Between 8 30 and 2pm we drifted Fluke in the channel. Norio had 6 keepers out of 15 with 25" being the pool Dave felt alot queasy in the channel but still had 2 keepers and 2 shorts I got to swing a rod landing 4 keepers and 10 or so shorts many many between 16.5 and 17.75 fluking was good today.

Friday Pm Mike and Annie along with Joseph and Daniell were out on the F n F trip tonight. While fishing was not high on this groups agenda and they asked if we could stay in the bay As the kids do not have there sea legs. the kids managed a few small bass on worms (fluking in the bay has been bad) as well as a few short fluke and a few Seabass . The fire works on CI seem to get bigger and Better every week those guy to a realy nice job.

Saturday Am Capt. John had Danny, Mike and the guys (5) total from Albany out for some SeaBass and Fluke today . John Fished a bunch of Drops between 40 and 60 ft producing 40 keepers seabass and a ton of shorts for the guys.Once the tide changed the bigger fish seemed to stop biting. So Then they went to get in on some of the hot fluke action from yesterday and it just didnt happen guys wound up with 4 keepers and 20 or so shorts all in all an ok day the guys had a blast and the weather was nice till the last hour.
