Sabine Lake fishing is still great, we have had great catches of trout and red fish under the birds the first 2 weeks of the month. The north end of the lake near level wall has been producing the best bite on red shad and morning glory plastics fished with 1/4 oz. jigs. We had 20 inches of rain in Beaumont in the middle of the month but it didn't hurt the lake as the fish moved south and we have been doing good on trout. A lot of smaller fish have showed up with the fresh water coming down from the rivers. We moved to Sabine Pass jetties, the gulf, and on the beach catching lots of speckled trout on top waters early in the mornings in water 2 to 5 feet. The trout have been up to 7 lbs. when the sun comes up on she dog glow and Norton bull minnows.

The triple tail showed up in good numbers at the rigs and the weed lines and on the beach. The marsh fishing has been hit and miss with the rain but we still did good on redfish on the flats in Bessie Heights and in Keith Lake. We have been catching some nice flounder in Keith Lake right after the rains came and on the Louisiana shoreline on Sabine Lake. Shark fishing is great at the Sabine jetties and the gulf to 8 miles off the beach catching black tips to 20 lbs.

Offshore fishing is really good right now, we are getting limits of red snapper to 20 lbs and big king fish are also showing up in good numbers to 40 lbs. The big ling are showing up 30 miles offshore catching them to 50 lbs. The month of july is going to be great for inshore and offshore fishing plrease call to book a trip and we will get your trip in for you. Good Fishing.
