This past weekend was filled with excitement. Fishing the Miami Billfish Tournament we had two great days and one bad day. But all three were exciting. The first day we fished off Key Biscayne and caught 4 sailfish. The fish were all caught in shallow and ate live threadfins. Saturday the fishing slowed down a bit but we caught 3 sailfish. They were out deeper on an edge in 240 ft. The fish have been on the small side. Sunday we fished a half-day and our luck ran out. Right off the bat we missed a fish and then we fell apart. But the fishing picked up after fishing hours were over.

Yesterday we were back Charter fishing and had good luck on an afternoon half day.

Fishing off Fowey Light we caught 2 out of 4 sailfish and the conditions looked good. The fishing this week should continue to be good for sailfish with the front pushing through today. I expect some more Dolphin to also make a better appearance, they seem to show up on a good northeast wind, when the current is running hard north.
