If like somebody hit the light switch the action turned on yesterday.

Fishing as a warm up day for the up coming Sailfish cup on tuesday we were to target just sailfish. Well the charter boat mentality got in the way when i found a large area of patches in around 300 ft. We poked around in the grass and found some nice Dolphin on our way down to better fishing conditions to the south. On the way we saw a hawk on the water which was close above a couple of Dolphin and a Sailfish. We caught the Dolphin but the sail disappeared. But we soon found an area that looked good to me and set up the kites. Before long we had our first shot, a quick miss and then a quick hook up. The fish jumped off but came back and eat again. Soon after we were hooked up again and again to finish off with 5 sails and 35 dolphin.

Most of the fish were in 200 ft and in. They ate mostly Thread fins.

Give us a call and lets go fishing
